Galatasaray captain Fernando Muslera has criticised Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho over his recent remarks about the Turkish Super Lig, insisting the Portuguese coach should leave if he does not appreciate Turkish football.

The veteran goalkeeper expressed disappointment with Mourinho’s repeated criticism of the league and referees, arguing that such comments do little to improve the image of Turkish football.
Muslera, who has spent more than a decade at Galatasaray, highlighted his long-standing commitment to the league, pointing to the success he has enjoyed while consistently working to help raise the profile of Turkish football.
The Uruguayan believes everyone involved in the game should focus on promoting and developing the league rather than undermining it through public criticism.
He also suggested that if Mourinho remains unhappy with Turkish football, the former Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid manager should consider leaving instead of continuing to speak negatively about the competition.
