Speaking to the media, Hassan expressed deep frustration, insisting his team were treated unfairly and that the match lacked sporting fairness. His emotions were clear as he delivered a powerful statement:
Why isn’t there any fairness in sport? In football? I do not want to try to put it nicely here with beautiful wording. We have been treated unfairly today. We have suffered injustice. We were the better team, but football is unfair.
Maybe they want to keep the world champions and Messi in the World Cup for marketing purposes. I will not follow any match in the World Cup from today. This is my protest against the injustice we were subjected to today.
