Bayern Munich have officially secured the future of highly rated youngster Arijon Ibrahimović after the 20-year-old signed a contract extension keeping him at the club until 2028.
Softfootball understands that the German-Kosovan attacking midfielder has earned a permanent place in Bayern’s first team plans following an impressive loan spell and positive discussions with head coach Vincent Kompany. The Belgian manager reportedly assured Ibrahimović of regular opportunities next season, convincing him to continue his development in Munich.
The academy graduate, who joined Bayern’s youth setup in 2018, attracted interest from several clubs in Germany and abroad but opted to commit his long-term future to the Bundesliga champions. His extension is viewed as another important step in Bayern’s strategy of retaining and developing elite young talent.

Iñigo Martínez has also put an end to speculation over his future by agreeing a one-year contract extension with Al Nassr.
The experienced Spanish defender, who joined the Saudi Pro League side after leaving Barcelona, will remain with Cristiano Ronaldo’s club beyond the expiry of his previous deal. The extension confirms Martínez is not available as a free agent and reinforces Al Nassr’s commitment to retaining experienced leaders within the squad.
Both contract renewals highlight the importance clubs continue to place on squad stability, with Bayern rewarding one of their brightest prospects and Al Nassr ensuring an experienced defender remains part of their long-term plans.
