Everton have completed the signing of Tyrique George from Chelsea after reaching a full agreement with both the player and the London club.
Softfootball understands that the transfer has been finalised for a £18 million fixed fee, with a further £6 million in performance-related add-ons. Chelsea have also secured a 15% sell-on clause as part of the agreement, ensuring they will benefit from any future transfer involving the highly rated winger.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Everton had stepped up their pursuit of George by submitting an official loan offer with an option to buy, placing the Merseyside club at the front of the race. Talks between the two clubs continued in the months that followed before a permanent agreement was reached.
The young attacker has now signed a long-term contract with Everton, where he is expected to continue his development and compete for regular first-team opportunities.

George is regarded as one of England’s promising young talents, and Everton believe he has the quality to strengthen their attacking options as they continue building for the future.
The transfer also reflects the positive working relationship between Chelsea and Everton, with both clubs successfully concluding negotiations on a deal that benefits all parties. Everton will now hope George can fulfil his potential and become an important player at Goodison Park in the years ahead.
