Musa Promises More Goals After Dream Return For Kano Pillars

Ahmed Musa has vowed to score more goals for Kano Pillars after marking his return to the club with a superb brace in Sunday’s Nigeria Premier Football League clash against Sunshine Stars.

Softfootball added that the experienced forward made an instant impact, scoring twice to inspire Kano Pillars to a convincing victory at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium. Musa opened the scoring after just five minutes before doubling his tally six minutes into the second half.

The 31-year-old had the chance to complete a memorable hat-trick but failed to convert a penalty in the 71st minute.

Following the victory, the former Leicester City winger took to social media to express his delight at returning to his boyhood club. Musa thanked the coaching staff, management, teammates and supporters for the warm reception, describing it as a special moment.

The Super Eagles captain also promised fans that his impressive performance was only the beginning, insisting there is much more to come as he looks to help Kano Pillars challenge strongly throughout the NPFL season.
