Rio Ave have agreed to sell 20-year-old Israeli forward Karem Zoabi to Portuguese club Torreense, with the striker set to sign a contract running until June 2029 after completing his medical next week, Softfootball reports.
Zoabi joined Rio Ave from Hapoel Jerusalem in July 2024 and has made 17 appearances for the Primeira Liga side without scoring, featuring mainly as a centre-forward while wearing the number 14 shirt. The move to Liga Portugal 2 is expected to provide the Israel U19 international with more regular playing time and a chance to continue his development.

Atlético Madrid are also making progress in their attempt to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Lee Kang-in, with the South Korean international already agreeing personal terms with the Spanish club.
Lee has been a valuable player for PSG since joining the club, offering creativity, technical quality, and versatility in attacking positions. Atlético see him as a player who can add more quality and balance to their squad.
As PSG prepare for possible departures, the club are also exploring targets such as Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche to strengthen their attacking options.
While Zoabi begins a new chapter in Portugal’s second tier, Lee Kang-in’s situation remains one of the notable transfer stories as Atlético and PSG continue discussions.
