Noni Madueke has opened up on what it feels like working under two of the most demanding coaches in football right now, insisting that both Mikel Arteta and Thomas Tuchel bring the same ruthless winning mentality.
Speaking in a recent interview shared by HaytersTV via their youtube channel, the Arsenal winger was asked to compare life under his club boss and his national team manager, and his answer made one thing very clear he has huge respect for both men.
“Tuchel and Arteta difference: both Mikel and Tuchel are the best managers in the world. Both are ruthless, efficient. I feel comfortable at club and country.”

Madueke explained that both managers demand a lot from him, but in a way that still allows him to play with freedom and confidence. According to him, they both trust his natural attacking instincts and want him to bring personality into his game rather than become robotic.

That balance has clearly helped him settle, especially after what has been a very important stretch in his season.
One of his standout moments came in Arsenal’s dominant 4-0 win over Leeds United, where he made an instant impact after coming in as a late replacement for the injured Bukayo Saka. Madueke delivered two first-half assists and played with the kind of directness that immediately troubled Leeds all afternoon.
Earlier in the year, he also showed his mentality after Arsenal dropped points against Nottingham Forest, admitting the result felt like a missed chance in the title race rather than brushing it aside.
Softfootball reported that Madueke is increasingly becoming one of Arteta’s most useful attacking weapons since his move from Chelsea, with his versatility, pace and confidence making him a growing threat for both Arsenal and England national football team.
