Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, has confirmed that Hamburger SV have completed the signing of highly rated 16-year-old striker Andrej Vasiljevic from MTK Budapest in a deal worth €2.5 million, including add-ons and a sell-on clause.

Andrej Vasiljevic joins HSV Hamburg from MTK Budapest, deal confirmed as revealed yesterday. €2.5m package deal with add-ons included, sell-on clause also part of the agreement for 16 year old talent.

The agreement comes shortly after initial reports revealed Hamburg’s aggressive push to secure the Hungarian talent, with sporting director Claus Costa playing a key role in finalizing negotiations as earlier reported by Softfootball.

Vasiljevic, regarded as Hungary’s youngest professional player, attracted strong interest from top clubs such as Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig, making Hamburg’s success a notable statement in the youth transfer market.
