In a recent report by transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, Tottenham Hotspur are considering replacing interim manager Igor Tudor following a difficult run of results.

Romano revealed:

Tottenham remain in process to change manager again with Igor Tudor at serious risk. Roberto De Zerbi has been a top target for months but difficult deal, seen as unlikely. Spurs are considering also more managers in order to make decision soon, waiting for next games.

Tudor was appointed in February 2026 on a short-term deal running until June after the dismissal of Thomas Frank during a turbulent period that left Spurs struggling in the Premier League. The Croatian coach had been expected to stabilize the team until the end of the season, but recent performances have intensified pressure on his position.

Softfootball understands the situation could result in a second managerial change at Spurs within a month if the board decides to act.

Tottenham have reportedly suffered three consecutive defeats, conceding 14 goals in the process, a defensive record that has raised serious concerns within the club’s hierarchy.

Among the names previously linked with the role is Roberto De Zerbi, who remains a long-term managerial target for the North London club. However, current reports suggest the Italian coach is unlikely to become an immediate option as Tottenham continue evaluating alternatives.

Another potential candidate being monitored is Michael Carrick, with the club assessing various options depending on results in upcoming fixtures.

Recently, Tudor declined to address speculation about his future, insisting he remains focused on improving performances and guiding the squad through a challenging period.
