Mikel Arteta has praised Arsenal’s new signing, Martin Zubimendi as an “intelligent” player. Softfootball gave an account of how the Gunners unveiled Zubimendi from Real Sociedad.
Upon completion of the signing, Arsenal boss, Arteta speaking with the club’s media described the player as the player with qualities. The Gunners boss said:
Martin is a player who will bring a huge amount of quality and football intelligence to our team. He will fit in really well and he has all the attributes to be a key player for us.
“The standard he has consistently performed at over the last few seasons for both club and country is exactly why we are so excited to have him with us. We all welcome Martin and his family to the club.
Arteta and Arsenal had been chasing the Spanish international since January and finally landed him in their fold this summer.
Sporting director, Andre Berta also added his two cent on the new boy. Berta added:
We are so happy to bring Martin to Arsenal and have a lot of pride in finalising this transfer. Martin was a key target for us and we all know that he is a perfect fit for our squad with the high quality he has.
We welcome Martin and his family to the club. We look forward to him settling in with his teammates and are very excited to see him playing in an Arsenal shirt.

Arsenal have unveiled Spanish midfielder, Martin Zubimendi as their new signing from Real Sociedad on a 5 year deal. It was earlier recounted how the midfielder arrived in London to finalize his deal with the Gunners.
Zubimendi becomes Arsenal’s second signing of the season after the Gunners announced former Chelsea goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga on a 5m move.
