Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior has shut down speculation about a potential exit, insisting he wants to remain at the Bernabeu “for many years” amid strong interest from Saudi Pro League clubs. The 24-year-old Brazilian forward appears set to extend his stay with Los Blancos, with a new long-term deal reportedly close to completion.

Currently under contract until June 2027, Vinicius is expected to sign a fresh agreement that will keep him in the Spanish capital until 2030. Speaking after Real Madrid’s 3-0 Club World Cup win over Red Bull Salzburg—where he contributed a goal and an assist—the winger expressed unwavering loyalty to the club.

“I hope I can stay here for many years,” said Vinicius. “I’ve always said this is the club of my life. I’m very happy with the coach and everyone on the staff, and I hope I can keep playing here. I want to make great history with this team.”

Vinicius has made 319 appearances for Real Madrid since joining from Flamengo in 2018, scoring 106 goals and delivering 83 assists. Over the years, he has evolved into one of the club’s most decisive and beloved figures, playing a crucial role in domestic and European successes.

Despite ongoing links to a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia, Vinicius’s comments and Madrid’s push for a contract extension make it clear he is central to the club’s long-term vision.

Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso also praised his team’s performance against Salzburg, calling it a “spectacular” improvement following lackluster outings against Al-Hilal and Pachuca earlier in the Club World Cup.

“I’m satisfied with the team’s performance,” Alonso said. “There was a move in the second half where the team’s defensive reaction was spectacular. Everyone’s sacrifice was important. Without that, it’s impossible nowadays.”

Real Madrid now shift focus to their round-of-16 clash against Juventus on July 1. Alonso emphasized the importance of preparation, stating that Juve pose a serious threat despite Madrid’s strong form.

As Los Blancos continue their Club World Cup campaign, fans can take solace in Vinicius’s commitment to the badge—a signal that the club’s attacking future remains bright even amid external transfer noise.
