Softfootball has gathered that new Liverpool signee Giovanni Leoni has embarked on an air trip to England ahead of his medical scheduled for Thursday, after an agreement was struck with Parma on Wednesday.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano on his official X handle, the Italian youngster will arrive in England for his medical.

He wrote on his X handle, saying,
“Giovanni Leoni, on his way to Liverpool right now.
Arne Slot also confirms Liverpool have agreed a deal with Parma”
Meanwhile, Softfootball also gathered video evidence to back this claim of the player moving to the Airport, where he will embark on an air trip with his luggage.
The video was obtained from Sky Sports international reporter Gianluca Di Marzio, revealing the youngster bidding farewell to his family at the entrance of the airport before embarking on the trip.

Softfootball had earlier reported the story in the morning, stating that Leoni won’t travel alone, as he will be accompanied by his agent.
The deal was said to cost Liverpool around €35m, with Parma placing a club sell-on clause on the Italian, and this is because Arne Slot sees Leoni as a likely fit into his style of play. Leoni, who has impressed with his maturity and defensive positioning in Italy’s youth system, was monitored by several European sides before Liverpool won the race for his signature.
