Victor Osimhen has received a staggering new contract offer from Al Hilal, reportedly worth £34 million per year, as his future remains up in the air amid stalled Premier League interest.

The Nigerian striker, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray after being frozen out by Napoli boss Antonio Conte, is open to staying in Turkey after scoring 37 goals and leading the club to a league title.

Despite his success, Osimhen’s dream is to play in the Premier League. Both Manchester United and Arsenal have held talks with the striker, but are currently pursuing other targets, including Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko.

With uncertainty hanging over a Premier League switch, Osimhen continues to attract attention elsewhere. Al Hilal are making a renewed push, reportedly willing to activate his £64 million release clause and offer a four-year contract worth nearly £140 million in total.

Although Osimhen already turned down a previous approach from the Saudi club, the improved financial terms could prove tempting if no top European side makes a concrete move.

Manchester United remain a potential destination. According to Rio Ferdinand, the striker may be “waiting” for a call from Old Trafford. The former England defender believes Osimhen would be the ideal signing to lead the line under new manager Ruben Amorim.

Chelsea were close to landing the Nigerian on deadline day last summer, but with the recent acquisition of young English forward Liam Delap, the Blues are unlikely to revisit that deal.

Former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel expressed disappointment that his former club passed on Osimhen, though he praised Delap’s work ethic and potential. However, he questioned whether the youngster is ready to lead the attack for a club of Chelsea’s stature.

Osimhen’s future could hinge on whether a top Premier League club makes their move soon—or if he accepts a historic payday in Saudi Arabia.
