Super Falcons Open Camp in Ikenne as Preparations Begin for Senegal Friendlies

Preparations for the upcoming international friendly matches against Senegal are officially underway as the Super Falcons of Nigeria reconvened in camp at Ikenne on Monday.

Softfootball believes, the coaching crew will use the training camp to assess player fitness, refine tactical plans, and reintegrate returning stars following the conclusion of their club duties. The friendlies serve as an important test as the team continues building momentum ahead of future competitions.

A number of players have already arrived in camp, including

Asisat Oshoala, Toni Payne, Ngozi Okobi‑Okeoghene, Omorinsola Babajide, Tosin Demehin, Shukurat Oladipo, Kafayat Shittu, Joy Omewa, Blessing Ilivieda, Folashade Ijamilusi, and Anderline Mgbechi.

While camp officially opened today, the team’s first full training session is scheduled for tomorrow, with additional players expected to join in the coming days as they complete their travel arrangements.

Early activities have focused on arrivals, fitness monitoring, and settling into the team environment. The mood in camp is positive, with anticipation growing as preparations intensify ahead of the double‑header against Senegal at the Remo Stars Stadium.
