Nigeria’s Super Falcons wrapped up their preparations for the second leg of the Olympics 2028 qualifiers by departing the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State, following their final training session on Monday evening.

The team left the training venue at approximately 8:00 PM, heading back to camp aboard their familiar green team bus as they shifted focus to Tuesday’s crucial encounter against Comoros.

SoftFootball Media captured the moment the players and officials departed the stadium, accompanied by a police escort that ensured a smooth exit from the venue.

Interestingly, SoftFootball observed that the police escort assigned to the team featured a different patrol vehicle from the one seen during the Super Falcons’ previous movements throughout the training camp.

With preparations now complete, the players can fully concentrate on the task ahead as Nigeria seeks to finish the job against Comoros and book a place in the next round of qualifying for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

The Super Falcons head into the second leg with a valuable 2-0 advantage, courtesy of goals from Michelle Alozie and Uchenna Kanu in the first meeting between both nations.

After days of intensive training in Ikenne, the Nigerian side will be looking to carry their first-leg momentum into the return fixture and continue their march toward Olympic qualification.
