Paris Saint-Germain’s commanding 5-0 victory over Inter in the Champions League final has raised questions about their next steps in the transfer market. Luis Enrique’s team dominated the match at the Allianz Arena, with Desire Doue scoring twice alongside goals from Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and young substitute Senny Mayulu.

Throughout the knockout stages, PSG impressed by overcoming strong teams like Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Arsenal on their way to lifting the trophy. Despite this success, Steven Gerrard believes the newly crowned champions could face a significant challenge in enhancing the squad ahead of the new season.

Gerrard pointed out the difficulty in identifying clear areas for improvement in such a strong team, questioning where PSG might look to strengthen. This suggests that while PSG’s current squad is formidable, adding fresh talent could be a complicated task.

Luis Enrique’s side now enters the summer with the task of maintaining momentum while deciding how to build on an already impressive team. The Champions League win sets high expectations, making any transfer decisions even more critical.
