Although Spain dominated the game, they struggled to find the back of the net in the first half as the away side defended properly but Crystal Palace midfielder Yeremy Pino opened the scoring half way into the encounter with a simple finish from Robin le Normand’s knockdown from inside the box.
Spain could’ve extended their lead when Liverpool goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili brought down Ferran Torres in the box, but he redeemed himself by saving the Barcelona forward’s spot-kick.

In the second half, Real Sociedad midfielder Mikel Oyarzabal doubled the hosts’ lead with a superb free-kick from the edge of the box as it flew past Mamardashvili at his near post to make it 2-0.
No more goals were scored as the encountered finally ended 2-0 in favour of Spain. They now have nine points from three matches and top of top of Group E while Georgia sit third with just three points.
