Manager Jorge Jesus revealed that medical tests showed Cristiano Ronaldo’s hamstring injury was more serious than initially expected. The Portuguese star suffered the problem during Al-Nassr’s 3–1 win over Al‑Fayha FC, where he also missed an early penalty before limping off late in the match.
Ronaldo has now travelled to Madrid to undergo rehabilitation with his personal therapist, with early reports suggesting he could be out for two to four weeks as the club hopes for a quick recovery.
