Benjamin Sesko’s agent has made it clear that the 22-year-old striker will only leave RB Leipzig under respectful conditions, even as interest from Premier League clubs like Arsenal and Manchester United continues to build.

Unlike the increasingly messy situation between Viktor Gyokeres and Sporting CP—where the striker is reportedly determined to push his way out—Sesko’s camp is taking a far more composed and diplomatic approach. His representative, Elvis Basanovic, insists that while there may be interest from multiple clubs, there will be no pressure tactics used against Leipzig.

Sesko, who impressed with his performances last season, is valued between €80 million and €100 million. Arsenal, who have already had a €70 million package turned down for Gyokeres, are also keeping tabs on Sesko as a potential marquee signing for Mikel Arteta’s frontline next season.

Manchester United, meanwhile, are also monitoring Sesko as Ruben Amorim searches for a new striker. However, their lack of European football may prove a stumbling block. Liam Delap’s rejection of United in favor of Chelsea, and Gyokeres ruling them out entirely, have already highlighted the challenges they face in the summer market.

Basanovic emphasized that the exit strategy for Sesko is rooted in values and mutual respect. He ruled out any blackmail or public disputes, stating the importance of maintaining integrity through the process. “Even with a strong desire from the player to move, we’ll never force Leipzig,” he said, highlighting that how a player leaves reflects his professional values.

Interestingly, the agent did not rule out the possibility of Sesko staying at Leipzig if no fitting offer emerges. He pointed out that the club’s role in Sesko’s development is acknowledged and appreciated, and a move will only be made if a “special club with a special project and coach” is involved.

The striker’s future remains open-ended. Basanovic concluded that a move could come “next week, next year, or even in three years,” suggesting there is no rush as long as the right destination isn’t found. With both Arsenal and United still evaluating their options, Sesko’s calm and principled approach could be a deciding factor in where he ends up next.
