Ruben Amorim Set to Rotate Man Utd Squad for Wolves Clash Amid Europa League Push

Ruben Amorim is expected to make several changes to his Manchester United lineup as they prepare to host Wolves at Old Trafford today. The Red Devils have a chance to bounce back from a narrow Europa League victory, having staged a dramatic extra-time comeback against Lyon to reach the semi-finals. However, with United languishing in 14th place in the Premier League, their hopes of qualifying for Europe next season hinge on winning the Europa League.

With the club’s European ambitions on the line, Amorim hinted at rotating his squad to keep key players fresh. Diogo Dalot, who has featured in every minute of United’s games since mid-January, may be given a rest today. “The guys who are at risk of injury, we will try to save them,” Amorim said in his pre-match press conference.

There were concerns over Victor Lindelof and Noussair Mazraoui after both players left the Lyon match at half-time, but Amorim confirmed that both are fit and available for today’s game. “Everything is okay now, and I know football is important, but there are things that are more important,” he added.

While Matthijs de Ligt, Amad Diallo, and Jonny Evans have been seen training, Amorim suggested none would be available for today’s match. Instead, he may give young players like Harry Amass and Chido Obi a chance to feature. “It’s not the best moment or the best season to put kids to play,” Amorim admitted, “but if we have to do it, we will.”

Predicted Man Utd XI to face Wolves:
Onana; Yoro, Lindelof, Shaw; Mazraoui, Eriksen, Ugarte, Amass; Fernandes, Garnacho; Obi.
