Ruben Amorim expressed confidence that Bruno Fernandes has not played his final game for Manchester United amid growing rumors linking him to a move to Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal. The Saudi club reportedly plans to offer a transfer fee around £80 million and a net annual salary of €25 million to the 30-year-old midfielder.

Fernandes featured in Manchester United’s recent 3-1 comeback win, sparked by former Arsenal talents Chido Obi Martin and Isaac Hayden. After the game, Amorim addressed the speculation about Fernandes’ future, saying he doesn’t believe the Portuguese star is leaving just yet. “I think he wants to stay,” Amorim said, noting the player’s desire to win and compete in the best league in the world.

Despite Manchester United missing out on European competition next season, Amorim insisted the club could find alternative ways to generate income rather than selling their captain. He acknowledged that, while the final decision might rest with the player, his conversations with Fernandes suggest a strong willingness to remain at Old Trafford.

Fernandes has shown moments of frustration this season, but Amorim believes he understands the club’s long-term vision. “Every time I speak with him, he wants to continue at Manchester United,” the manager added, though he admitted nothing is certain. The situation remains closely watched by fans and pundits alike as the transfer window approaches.
