Cristiano Ronaldo attended a clinic on March 2, 2026 as reported by Al nassr via their official x handle, following an injury scare during Al Nassr FC’s recent league match, prompting concern among supporters.
Al nassr posted;
The Portuguese captain appeared to pick up a knock in Al Nassr’s 3–1 comeback victory over Al-Fayha FC on February 28. Earlier in the match, Ronaldo had missed a ninth-minute penalty after striking the post. Although he continued briefly, he was later seen limping and was substituted as a precaution.
His visit to the clinic was understood to be a routine medical check to assess the extent of the issue rather than an indication of a serious injury. Initial indications suggest the problem is minor, but the club is monitoring him carefully as the title race intensifies.

Despite Ronaldo’s frustrating night individually, Al Nassr recovered from a 1–0 deficit. Sadio Mané equalized before a late own goal and a strike from Abdullah Al Hamdan sealed the win, sending Al Nassr back to the top of the Saudi Pro League table.
The injury scare comes just days after Ronaldo reached his 965th career goal in a 5–0 victory over Al-Najma SC, moving him 35 goals away from the historic 1,000-goal milestone.
Off the field, softfootball has reported that Ronaldo has also made headlines by acquiring a 25 percent stake in UD Almería, expanding his presence in football ownership.
For now, the focus remains on his fitness. With crucial league and continental fixtures approaching, Al Nassr will be eager to have their captain fully fit as soon as possible.
