Real Betis are pressing ahead with efforts to sign Antony from Manchester United this summer, with negotiations still ongoing as both clubs work to finalise terms and agree on the deal’s structure.
The 25-year-old Brazilian no longer has a future at Old Trafford, and he will be eager to leave to play regular football, and a switch to the Spanish club could be the ideal solution for him.

Antony spent last season on loan at Real Betis and delivered impressive performances throughout the campaign. He managed to establish himself as one of their most important players and played a key role in helping them reach the final of the Conference League.
United want to sell Antony permanently. But Betis are not expected to meet the Red Devils’ demands, with La Liga club happy to wait until late in the transfer window in the hope that United will soften their stance and accept another loan bid.
Now, according to Fabrizio Romano via his X account, Real Betis remain in pursuit of Antony, with talks ongoing to finalise terms and agree on the deal’s structure. The Spanish side are pushing hard to secure his return and remain optimistic about a breakthrough.
His post reads:
“Real Betis are still working on deal to sign Antony from Manchester United.
Talks are ongoing to agree terms and try get green light on deal structure.
Betis, trying their best for Antony’s comeback.”
Softfootball was reliable informed that Antony’s desire to return to Betis continue to get in the way of Manchester United’s plans.
Fenerbahçe are said to have signalled a willingness to meet United’s demands of €45 million (£38.9 million, $52.3 million) but, despite the Red Devils wanting to accept, Antony has not given his approval to the move.
Antony has his heart set on Betis and is simply waiting for an agreement to be reached with United, despite also receiving loan interest from the likes of Bayer Leverkusen, Benfica and even Brighton & Hove Albion, according to the report.
