Manchester United and Real Betis have finally reached agreement on Brazilian winger, Antony following weeks of negotiations, Softfootball reports.
Ahead of the close of the summer transfer window today, the Spanish club that seem initially like pulling out of the deal due to United’s refusal to burge on the fee demanded, came to terms with what the Red Devils were demanding.

Antony will be moving permanently on a reduced salary from what he earned at Manchester United and won’t be paid any loyalty bonus by the 20-time Premier League champions.
According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, via his official X handle, it’s a “here we go!” moment as all has been agreed by the parties involved.
He revealed:
“BREAKING: Antony to Real Betis, here we go! €22m plus €3m fee to Manchester United.
“Manchester United will have 50% sell-on clause on profit for the future sale.
“Antony, in Sevilla in the next 24h for medical as deal is done.
“Antonio vuelve a Betis.”
Antony left Ajax to Premier League giants Manchester United for around €100m in 2022. He turned out to be a flop at Old Trafford despite scoring on his debut in a 2-1 win over Arsenal. He went on to score just 12 goals in 96 appearances.
Last season, the Red Devils sent Antony on loan to Betis for the second half of last season, and he impressed with Manuel Pellegrino and that made the Spanish side want to retain his services.
Antony made 26 appearances across all competitions for Real Betis and scored nine goals with five assists. He helped the club reach the Europa Conference League final where they lost to Chelsea which they lost.
While waiting for Manchester United and Real Betis to reach agreement on a fee for his permanent move, Antony had other offers to leave but refused as he only wanted to play for the Spanish club.
Antony did not part-take in any of the four matches Manchester United played so far this season as the manager Ruben Amorim banned him from doing anything with the first team until the transfer window was closed.
