Softfootball understands that PSV Eindhoven have once again made their position clear that Ivan Perišić is not for sale. Following a key meeting today, involving the player, his representatives, and senior club officials.
The Dutch champions reaffirmed their desire to keep the veteran winger at the Philips Stadion despite rising pressure from Inter Milan. As reported by Fabrizio Romano via his official X account.

He posted:
After meeting this afternoon, PSV Eindhoven make clear they want to keep Ivan Perisić at the club. Inter remain in contact to try again after opening bid rejected by PSV but no green light from Dutch club so far.
Inter’s interest has been loud, persistent, and very real, coming on the back of their 2–0 Champions League win over Dortmund after a 3–1 defeat to Arsenal. Personal terms are already in place, and sources close to the Serie A club say Perišić has made it clear he is eager for a return to the San Siro.
Perišić, now 36, has been nothing short of a hit since joining PSV on a short-term deal back in September 2024, with 16 goals and 11 assists across 35 appearances in the 2024–25 season. PSV offers Perisic a two-year extension running until 2027.
The club’s stance hasn’t softened even after their recent UEFA Champions League exit, a narrow 2–1 defeat to Bayern Munich. While the lack of elite European football could weaken PSV’s pull, technical director Earnest Stewart believes Perišić’s leadership on and off the pitch is essential for domestic ambitions and long-term stability.

Inter’s renewed push is driven by necessity. Injuries to Denzel Dumfries and underwhelming form from Luis Henrique have left Cristian Chivu short on reliable wing options.
Alternatives like Moussa Diaby joining the club on loan from Al Ittihad have been discussed, but Perišić remains the preferred short-term fix.
With the transfer window closing fast, the next 48 hours could decide everything. Either Inter finds a bid PSV can’t ignore, or Perišić turns up the pressure. For now, PSV hold the cards, and they’re not blinking yet.
