PSG block Arsenal and Chelsea move for Barcola

Paris Saint-Germain have shut the door on any potential exit for winger Bradley Barcola, rejecting transfer approaches from Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea. Bayern Munich also reportedly made a move for the talented 22-year-old, but PSG made it clear that he is not for sale.

Barcola, who racked up 21 goals and 20 assists across all competitions last season, played a pivotal role in PSG’s treble-winning campaign. However, his place in the starting XI is far from guaranteed, especially after being left on the bench for the Champions League final against Inter Milan, with Luis Enrique preferring Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembele, and Desire Doue.

Despite speculation around his future, PSG remain adamant about keeping the winger. With his contract running until 2028 and no financial pressure to sell, the French club has rebuffed all inquiries.

As PSG stand firm, both Arsenal and Chelsea are shifting their focus to alternative attacking options. Arsenal have their eyes on Real Madrid’s Rodrygo and Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams—though the latter is inching closer to a move to Barcelona. Chelsea, on the other hand, are still pursuing Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund. Gittens reportedly favours a move to Stamford Bridge, but Chelsea must fend off interest from Bayern Munich to land him.

For now, Barcola looks set to stay at Parc des Princes, with Enrique keen to integrate him more fully into the squad for the 2025–26 season.
