urrien Timber was born on June 17, 2001, in the Netherlands, alongside his twin brother, Quinten, who is also a professional footballer. Of Curaçaoan descent, the Timber brothers grew up in a football-loving household and took their mother’s surname due to past family circumstances.

Timber’s football journey began at DVSU, a local Utrecht-based club. At six years old, he joined Feyenoord’s youth system, before moving to Ajax’s famed academy in 2014. His talent quickly set him apart, and he signed his first professional contract with Ajax in 2018.

Timber made his competitive debut in Arsenal’s 2023 Community Shield victory over Manchester City, scoring in the 4–1 penalty shootout win. A week later, he started in the Premier League against Nottingham Forest but was forced off in the 50th minute due to a serious ACL injury, requiring surgery and sidelining him for most of the season.

The Timbers became only the third pair of twins to represent the Netherlands together, following René & Willy van de Kerkhof and Frank & Ronald de Boer.
