Early Life and Career Beginnings
Robertson grew up in Glasgow, supporting Celtic as a child. Despite his passion for the club, he was released at under-15 level for being “too small.” Undeterred, he continued playing for Giffnock Soccer Centre before joining Queen’s Park in 2012.
