Senny Mayulu scored late in the second half as Paris Saint-Germain escaped a home defeat in the 3-3 draw against high flying Strasbourg, Softfootball reports.
PSG’s only defeat this season came against Marseille on the night Ousmane Dembélé won the 2025 Ballon D’Or in Paris but they nearly suffered another one and this time, in front of their home fans until the late goal by Mayulu. No wonder PSG Coach, Luis Enrique said they were prepared to face adversity.

After the encounter, PSG’s official X handle shared the full-time result on their timeline.

The first game in the French league after the international game was a blockbuster as Paris Saint-Germain locked horns with in-form Strasbourg. The Champions were without Ballon D’Or winner, Dembélé as he was still nursing an injury while former Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia started from the bench.
The home side started very well when France international, Bradley Barcola gave them an early lead but the away side responded with two goals of their own. First in the 26th by Joaquín Panichelli and Diego Moreira made it 2-1 just before half-time
For Strasbourg they were happy with the draw as posted via the club’s official X handle.
A performance to be proud of at the home of the European Champions.

PSG fans were shocked as to what had happened but had no time to realise what was happening before Panichelli struck again to complete his brace and make it 3-1. PSG won a penalty and Portugal international, Gonçalo Ramos converted it in the 58th minute and with the game looking like running away from the home side, Senny Mayulu equalised in the 79th minute to tie the match at 3-3.
Paris Saint-Germain remain top of the table with 17 points, Strasbourg stay second with 16 points after eight matches so far but Marseille currently on 15 points can go to if they beat Le Havre tomorrow night.
