Cole Palmer has spoken about Reece James’s situation at Chelsea, highlighting the importance of communication between players and the club hierarchy over long-term decisions as reported by fabrizio via their x handle.

Cole Palmer: “Reece James won’t sign a six-year contract if he’s not spoken to the owners and the directors. Me and Reece spoke a lot”. 

“About things we need, players we need to sign and how things need to be…”, told The Guardian.

According to The Guardian, Palmer noted that discussions have been ongoing within the squad about squad needs and future planning, suggesting a growing leadership voice inside the dressing room.
