Rafaela Pimenta, the agent of AC Milan forward, Santi Giménez has claimed that she is not surprised that Premier League clubs are linked with her client but the priority is to stay at AC Milan, Softfootball reports.

The Mexican has endured some tough start to life at AC Milan since he joined from Feyenoord, making just 23 appearances and scoring five goals. He played a small part when AC Milan beat Roma in the Derby della Madonnina earlier in the season.

According to football expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, Rafaela Pimenta is hoping Santi Giménez remains at Sansiro but also happy with the attention from premier league clubs. She said:

I’m not surprised to see Premier League links, but there’s no plan at all to leave AC Milan. The message I get from the club is also the same: it’s all ok with Giménez, told ESPN.

Giménez, who is one of the stars of the Mexico national team is finding life difficult at Sansiro and since he featured in AC Milan’s 1-1 draw against Atalanta, he has not seen enough game time under new manager Max Allegri.

The 24-year-old is still rated by clubs across Europe and they may seek to lure him away from the Rossoneri’s during the winter transfer or have an agreement that will see him move in the summer.

Giménez will hope to play some part when AC Milan battle Lazio in the Coppa Italia round of 16 encounter on Thursday.
