Mikel Arteta has revealed how Arsenal responded internally after a testing period, insisting the mood inside the club is now calm, united, and full of belief. Speaking ahead of Arsenal’s next assignment at the Emirates, Arteta explained that the squad deliberately slowed things down to reset mentally.
According to SoftFootball, Arsenal are determined to bounce back strongly as they prepare for key fixtures across multiple competitions, starting with their home clash against Kairat. The Arsenal manager acknowledged that recent results, including the defeat to Manchester United, required honest reflection rather than panic.

That loss tightened the Premier League race and served as a reminder of the fine margins at the top level, as highlighted in SoftFootball’s match report. Arteta stressed that the response from his players has been exactly what he hoped for, focused more on mindset than tactics.
Arteta explained in a video shared by the club’s official X account that the squad paused to ask two simple but powerful questions about emotions and intent. He described the outcome as uplifting and clear.
He said:
The reaction has been excellent. We took a moment to bring the temperature down, to pause and to reflect and ask two questions. One is how do we feel and how do I feel myself, and then how we want to live the next four months.

He continued:
And it was so encouraging and beautiful because what came out of that is very simple. We have earned the right to be in a great position in four competitions.
The Arsenal boss made it clear that the ambition remains unchanged, with enjoyment and bravery at the heart of their approach.
Arteta added:
And in the next four months we’re going to live and play with enjoyment, with a lot of courage and with the conviction that we’re going to win it. And this is going to be the mindset and where we’re going to put the energy.
He also called on supporters to fully buy into that mentality, echoing recent messages from senior players within the squad. Bukayo Saka recently urged the team to show character and bounce back together, a sentiment that aligns closely with Arteta’s vision.

Arteta closed by reinforcing the emotional connection between the club and its fans.
He said:
And I’m just hoping that everybody that is related to this club, especially our supporters, jump on that boat because this is the way that we’re going to live the next four months because we deserve to live like this.
For Arsenal, the message is simple. Reset, believe, and attack the final stretch together.
