Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has hinted that his side could sign players in the January transfer window if need arises, Softfootball understands.
The Gunners are currently top of the premier league table with five points ahead of second placed Manchester City after 14 matches so far, Arsenal beat Brentford 2-0 in their last match courtesy goals from Mikel Merino and Bukayo Saka.

According to football expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, he informs that Arteta is open about the idea of signing players in the January transfer window. He said:
We always have to be prepared. We need to be open for it. So we don’t know, but we’re certainly going to be alert and we know where the risk can come in terms of the squad and be ready just in case we have to do something.
Arsenal face a tricky test against Aston Villa when they meet in the premier league Match-day 15 on Saturday. It will be a battle between first and third. Aston Villa got a brilliant win against Brighton when they won 4-3 away from home. Despite Unai Emery claiming they need Jadon Sancho, the Manchester United loanee is rarely used at the club.

Arsenal’s only defeat this season in the premier league is against Liverpool at Anfield. The Gunners are overwhelming favourites to win the league title this season and probably go beyond the semi-final of the UEFA Champions.
Mikel Arteta will be delighted that he can call upon the services again of Gabriel Jesus, who recently returned from a long-term injury. Also back recently are Captain Martin Odegaard and England international Noni Maduake.
