Manchester United are in contact to sign Fiorentina forward Moise Kean this summer as they continue their search for a new striker.
According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, United are “regularly in touch” with Fiorentina as they monitor the situation of former Everton forward Moise Kean, who has finally started to live up to his potential with the Serie A side over the past season.

It’s also worth pointing out that Kean’s departure is hardly a fait accompli. Fiorentina has done right by him, giving him both the platform to produce his best season and the support to deal with off-pitch issues. With the World Cup looming, the Moose may also want to stay in Florence for another year rather than riding the pine abroad in order to keep hold of his starting job for Italy.
Softfootball had reported that the Red Devils have only made one major summer signing so far, with Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha arriving from Wolves in a deal worth around £62.5m.

Bryan Mbeumo could be the next through the door with Man United attempting to agree a fee with Brentford for weeks, as the Bees stand firm on their valuation of the forward.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano brought an update on a potential deal for Mbeumo on Sunday, he said:
Let me repeat once again that Man United remain confident, Man United remain optimistic.
They still don’t have an agreement with Brentford for Bryan Mbeumo, but the conversation is still ongoing. Manchester United, according to my sources, are prepared to improve that proposal.
It’s not just about numbers. It’s not just about the transfer fee. It’s also about the structure of the deal, payment terms, installments, also add-ons, [if they are] easy or difficult, how to activate it. Man United are working on all these details of the deal in order to try reach an agreement with Brentford.
Arsenal in for yet another new winger
Arsenal are looking at the potential signing of another former Everton man, Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman. According to Caught Offside, the Gunners have “set their sights” on the hero of last year’s Europa League final and are “back in talks” over a deal.

Atalanta don’t want to sell Lookman, but with the player making it fairly plain that he’s ready to move on, they will let him leave for “the right price”, which is €45-50m (£38-43m) plus add-ons. Arsenal are said to have been tracking Lookman for a year now and are said to be “well-placed” to strike a deal, although Liverpool are supposedly keeping tabs from a slightly greater distance too.
Softfootball earlier reported that Ian Wright has urged Arsenal to sign Ademola Lookman. Speaking on Wrighty’s House podcast, Wright said:
I hope we can buy him, Arsenal. I would love someone like him to come back to the Premier League and say, ‘I have unfinished business here, so I am going to help Arsenal win the league’.”
He added:
His journey has been unbelievable, from Charlton to Everton, then bouncing around on loan spells and abroad. He never gave up, and now he’s delivering on the big stage.
