Five Manchester United players have reportedly told the Red Devils that they want to leave and are not interested in continuing with the club.
Softfootball can confirm that those players are Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Tyrell Malacia, and Jadon Sancho.
Manchester United had a torrid season under Ruben Amorim, finishing 15th in the league and also losing the UEFA Europa League final to a Tottenham side that finished below them in 16th place.
Softfootball earlier reported that Manchester United and Garnacho have been on the same page on the player’s exit, and the Argentine winger is not expected back in training anytime soon, with the English club even willing to lower the winger’s transfer fee to facilitate an exit.

Softfootball also reported that Barcelona are evaluating the possibility of signing Marcus Rashford, especially after the deal to sign Nico Williams was jeopardised with the winger signing a 10-year contract extension with the Basque outfit.
We also reported various interest in English midfielder Jadon Sancho, who so far has attracted interest especially in Italy and also in Turkey.
Antony is also another player who wants out of United’s project. Once dubbed the next big thing in football, the Brazilian struggled spectacularly and had to go on loan to revitalise his career with Real Betis, something he did spectacularly well.

However, Manchester United’s asking price is proving to be a stumbling block, but as we reported, a potential loan deal to continue his career at Real Betis is on the cards.
After Tyrell Malacia returned from his loan spell, Softfootball reported that the club was going to decide his future, but those talks have proven to be fruitless, and the defender is actively seeking a way out of Old Trafford.
For Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim, it is important that players who do not feel connected to the project leave the club, but it will also be a big task to replace the obvious qualities of the players walking out the door. It will be intriguing to see how Manchester United manages this exit with the aim of also building a competitive squad.
