Manchester City defensive midfielder, Rodri has declared that he hopes to be fit for the game against Everton after the international break, Softfootball reports.

According to football expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, the Spanish midfielder is looking at returning earlier than initially feared. He wrote:

Rodri will not join Spain team after suffering muscle injury on Sunday.

He’s feeling better but no risk with national team. “I hope to be available in two weeks’ time for Everton game”, he said.

Rodri has already missed some couple of matches for Manchester City this season and Pep Guardiola and City fans will be happy with the news that his latest injury is not something that would keep him out for so long.
