Manchester City are currently stationed in the United States as they gear up for their Club World Cup opener on June 18. Their preparations include new signings like Rayan Cherki, Tijjani Reijnders, and Rayan Ait-Nouri, signaling a fresh phase in the squad’s evolution.

Meanwhile, Jack Grealish’s future at the club seems increasingly uncertain. Despite his two years remaining on his contract, Grealish was omitted from the squad for their Premier League season finale, a 2-0 win at Fulham.

Even more telling was his absence from the FA Cup final lineup, where Manchester City suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace.

During that match, manager Pep Guardiola opted to introduce 19-year-old Claudio Echeverri, sidelining the £100m signing.

Reports suggest City would consider letting Grealish leave if a £40 million offer comes in. However, so far, there have been no official bids, and his substantial weekly wage of £300,000 poses a challenge for any interested club.

England’s head coach Thomas Tuchel recently weighed in, implying that Grealish’s lack of game time could hinder his chances of featuring in next year’s World Cup. Without regular minutes, his rhythm and impact are likely to fade, making a move away from City all the more critical.

Behind the scenes, Grealish’s camp is already exploring potential clubs, hoping to secure a transfer that can revive his international hopes and ensure more consistent playtime.
