Luciano Spalletti last Serie A job was as manager of Napoli where he led the club to their first Scudetto title in 30 years with players like Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia playing key roles at the time.

However, difference in ambition and transfer targets led to Spalletti and the club parting ways and it wasn’t long before Khvicha Kvaratskhelia moved to Paris Saint-Germain where he went on to win Ligue 1, UEFA Champions League and played in the Club World Cup final while Victor Osimhen led Galatasaray to the Turkish Super Lig title and won the most Valuable Player and Topscorer award in Turkey last season.

Juventus are currently placed eighth with 12 points and Spalletti’s first match, if confirmed as manager, is expected to be against Cremonese on Saturday.
