Speaking ahead of the weekend match against Burnley at Anfield in an interview shared on Liverpool’s official X handle, Arne Slot claims he is delighted the player is set to rejoin the group as they continue their premier league title defense. He revealed:

We are in talks with him, what is expected of him over there, what is expected over here, but first of all he needs to have a game on Saturday and next week he will be back with us. First of all, he needs to play another big game for Egypt on Saturday and then he comes back to us and I’m happy that he comes back. Mo has been so important for this club, for me, so I am happy he is back. Even if I had 15 attackers, I would have still been happy that he comes back. That’s not our current situation, so happy to have him back after an important game he has to play.
