Liverpool boss denies transfer rumors about defender

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has dismissed speculation linking Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez with a summer move, insisting he won’t discuss potential transfers.

Kerkez, a standout performer this season, had already denied any switch to Anfield during a YouTube live stream, stating, “I will not go to Liverpool.” Following Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Bournemouth, Slot reinforced that stance, avoiding transfer talk.

When asked directly about interest in Kerkez, Slot responded, “I don’t think I have to talk about players that we are interested in, let alone a player from Bournemouth.”

He acknowledged Bournemouth’s strong squad and praised their recruitment and management but refrained from commenting on specific players.

Mohamed Salah’s two goals secured Liverpool’s victory, extending their lead at the top of the Premier League to nine points. They now prepare for a crucial clash against Everton on Wednesday.
