Liverpool’s transfer window is showing no signs of slowing down. Fresh from smashing the Premier League transfer record last night to secure Alexander Isak, the Reds have now struck an agreement with Crystal Palace for defender Marc Guehi, Softfootball understands.
The move comes after weeks of speculation linking the 25-year-old with several top European clubs, including Manchester City and Arsenal but Liverpool have reportedly now won the race after agreeing a fee with crystal palace worth £35m plus 10% sell-on clause.

According to Transfer Expert Fabrizio Romano via his Official X handle ,the deal was agreed after long negotiations, with Guehi having already agreed personal terms weeks ago. He said;
“BREAKING: Liverpool agree deal to sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace, here we go!
Deal in place for fee over £35m plus 10% sell-on clause included in the package.
Guehi agreed personal terms with Liverpool one month ago, now all done.
One more move by Richard Hughes.”
This signing further cements Liverpool’s ambitious squad rebuild under Richard Hughes. Softfootball reports that the deal, valued at over £35m, adds a significant boost to Arne Slot’s defensive options. With Guehi set to slot straight into the backline and Isak expected to lead the line, Liverpool have delivered a clear statement of intent in both attack and defense.
The timing is also crucial. After missing out on defensive targets earlier in the window, Liverpool doubled down on Guehi and ensured no late hijack from rivals. For Palace, the move give them a good financial package while losing their club captain and one of their most consistent performers . For Liverpool, it shows another decisive step in their bid to remain at the very top of English football.
