Bayer Leverkusen are moving closer to signing French defender Loïc Badé from Sevilla, with negotiations between the two clubs now at an advanced stage. This is likely the latest transfer talk for the Erik Ten Hag side, who recently signed Ernest Poku from AZ Alkmaar last weekend.
Softfootball gathered that personal terms between Badé’s representatives and Leverkusen were agreed last week, paving the way for direct discussions with Sevilla over a transfer fee. Sources close to the deal suggest Bayer is optimistic an agreement could be finalised before the end of this week.

Fabrizio Romano also reported the deal, stating that Sevilla and Bayer Leverkusen will conclude the deal in the coming days.
He wrote on his X handle:
“Bayer Leverkusen are on the way to close Loïc Badé deal!
Agreement closer and talks underway with Sevilla, after personal terms agreed with Bade’s camp last week.
Bayer, optimistic to get it done this week.”
Badé, 24, joined Sevilla permanently from Rennes in 2023 after an initial loan spell and has been a regular figure in their backline. Known for his composure in possession and aerial strength, the Frenchman played a key role in Sevilla’s Europa League triumph in 2023.
However, with the Spanish club facing the need to balance finances, a sale is now onBayer Leverkusen the table.
