Softfootball understands that Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been named Premier League Player of the Month for December 2025, after an unbelievable run that helped Leeds United go unbeaten all month, as reported by the club via their official X account.
They posted:
The awards keep coming! Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been voted the PremierLeague’s Player of the Month for December!
This is his first time winning it since September 2020, he’s the first Leeds player to claim it since Rio Ferdinand in October 2001.

The striker scored six goals in five games, netting in every single Premier League match he played. That haul was huge for Leeds: a Leeds United 3-1 victory against Chelsea and a win against Crystal Palace, plus draws against Brentford and Sunderland. He also scored a penalty in Leeds United’s 3-3 draw against Liverpool.
He’s the first player from a newly promoted club to win the award since Teemu Pukki in 2019. Six goals also made him Europe’s top scorer in December, just edging out Erling Haaland.

On top of the Premier League award, he swept Leeds’ own December honours, earning the Leeds Player of the Month, Goal of the Month with his goal against Sunderland , PFA Fans’ Player of the Month, and Sky Sports’ Fanalysis award. The list goes on. He even got 75 per cent of the fan vote for Leeds’ AMT Player of the Month.
Calvert-Lewin’s December form has not only lifted Leeds United but also reminded everyone why he’s such a threat in front of goal.

From historic awards to topping Europe’s scorers, he’s clearly back in the spotlight, and fans are loving every minute of it. With Farke’s tactics clicking and the team climbing steadily up the table, the striker looks set to keep making headlines. If December was any indication, the best of Calvert-Lewin might still be ahead.
