Softfootball can confirm that Leeds United are set to add up 5 new players to their squad as they prepare for new PL season.
The Whites are looking to add more experience to their nearly young squad as they aim to retain their PL status beyond the 2025/2026 season after spending 5 years in the Championship. Daniel Farke’s team gained automatic promotion after winning the 2024/25 Championship title.
Now they face a little scare of relegating again if they do not add the right players to their team. Hence, they have lined up 5 new players to help their course for the coming season. While they still need a little departures to ensure new arrivals, the Peacocks are still going all out on their target players.

Anton Stach will be the first player on the list. According to reports, Stach is on the verge of completing a £17m plus add-ons move to the Whites from Hoffenheim. The Leeds press reports that Stach has agreed personal terms on a contract with Leeds last week, and the club have been in negotiations with the German club over a deal to take him to Elland Road.
While Stach is almost done, another position Leeds are eager to fill up is the striking position. Softfootball earlier reported that the club have decided to let target man Patrick Bamford go after 7 years of service. With no recognised number 9 in their team, the club is working on deal for Feyenoord’s Igor Paixao, who is also wanted by Olympique Marseille.
Although Dutch journalist Mikos Gouka says nothing is agreed yet. Gouka wrote on his X account:
“Benatia will meet with Te Kloese later today in an attempt to secure Igor Paixao. The situation: Paixao himself has already agreed with Olympique Marseille.
“But that club has not yet reached an agreement with Feyenoord. If that doesn’t happen today, the French will move on, it is said.“
Leeds will now hope that Marseille and Feyenoord do not reach an agreement so they can lure the striker to England however in a case where they miss out on Igor, the club have made progress in talks with the representatives of striker Muniz, who wants to leave Fulham in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The Whites have received encouragement from the striker’s camp to pursue a deal as the Brazilian is open to a switch to Elland Road in the coming weeks as Fulham have slapped a £50m price tag on the striker, who scored eight times in the Premier League.

Defensively, Leeds are reportedly heading to Turkey to bring their defender. Former Aston Villa man, Diego Carlos is the player they have penciled down. The club have made enquiries about wanting to sign the centre-back on loan from Fenerbahce this summer but with certain condition of an obligation to buy.
Between stick, Leeds are looking upgrade on long serving goalkeeper, Illan Meslier. Reports say the club have been linked with a move for Augsburg goalkeeper Finn Dahmen. The 27-year-old goalkeeper has emerged as a reliable option amidst some other options which includes former Arsenal goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale.
Leeds have started their preseason tours and the very first game ended goalless against Manchester United which Softfootball reported. They will face Villareal and AC Milan in coming days as they look forward to a new Premier League experience.
