Leandro Trossard turns 31 on December 4, 2025, but age is nothing more than a number for one of Arsenal’s most quietly brilliant performers.
Far from slowing down, Softfootball reports that Trossard remains a cornerstone of Mikel Arteta’s squad, delivering a blend of intelligence, consistency, and technical mastery that continues to elevate the Gunners year after year.

Since joining Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023 for £24 million, Trossard has made over 130 appearances, transforming himself from a smart winter signing into one of Arteta’s most trusted and adaptable attacking weapons.
Trossard wasted no time stamping his name into Premier League history. In March 2023, he became the first player ever to provide a hat-trick of first-half assists in an away match, orchestrating a 3–0 victory over Fulham.
That same season, he joined Santi Cazorla as the only Arsenal player to record both a hat-trick of goals and a hat-trick of assists in a single Premier League campaign, a testament to his versatility and elite technique.
Despite rumours that Trossard might move on from Arsenal, Mikel Arteta came out to clarify that the Belgian is not for sale and never wanted to leave.
In November 2023, Trossard etched himself into club folklore again by scoring the 1,000th goal at the Emirates Stadium in a 3–1 win over Burnley.

In the 2024/25 season, Trossard became the only outfield player to feature in every Premier League match, demonstrating exceptional durability and importance in Arteta’s system; however, this season he picked up a knock in the UEFA Champions League victory over Bayern Munich, making him miss Arsenal’s last two games.
He also delivered 17 goals across all competitions, 12 in the league, and produced a spectacular winner at Everton that earned him the Premier League Goal of the Month (September).
A remarkable statistic accompanies his scoring record: Arsenal have never lost a match in which Trossard has scored. His impact, whether starting or coming off the bench, is immediate and decisive.

By November 2025, exactly two years after his debut, he celebrated his 100th appearance for the club, having already scored 23 goals, many of them clutch contributions from the bench.
Born in Waterschei, Belgium, Trossard’s two-footed excellence is the product of early discipline. He credits his grandfather for training him to use both feet, a foundation that has turned him into a rare, genuinely ambidextrous attacker.
At 1.72m, he relies not on size but on smart movement, positional awareness, and sharp bursts of acceleration to find pockets of space and create danger in the final third.
His market value peaking at over €50 million in 2025 underscores his importance to Arsenal, and with his contract running until June 2027, the club remains well-positioned to benefit from his experience and quality.
