Arnaud Kalimuendo has rewritten history by achieving something no player has achieved in Forest in over 40 years. He made this history after he scored a goal in their UEFA Europa League match against FC Utrecht.
Softfootball reported that Forest won 2‑1 away at Utrecht where Kalimuendo opened the scoring in the second half before substitute Igor Jesus scored the late winning goal to secure three important points.

And that goal by Kali goal was what made the night wonderful for Forest fans. He had already scored a goal in the 3-0 Europa League win over Malmö FF making it two consecutive European games where he delivered goals for Forest.
Nottingham Forest acknowledged this achievement on their official X handle, saying:
Kali is the first Forest player since Peter Davenport in November 1983 to score in successive games in a European competition. 💫 pic.twitter.com/MmZ7UPXKGc

Another thing notable is that no player has had that achievement since Peter Davenport in November 1983, making Kalimuendo’s achievement rooted into the club’s historic records.
Legend Peter Davenport set the last record about tour decades ago when Forest played regularly in European competitions.
This achievement shows that Kali is making tremendous effort in Forest’s return to European football and with this, he can look forward to becoming an important player for Nottingham Forest as they work to qualify for the knockout stages of the Europa League.
This achievement is already being celebrated by the club and supporters and to older fans, it serves as a reminder of the club’s European history from the early 1980s. Kalimuendo’s name will now be mentioned alongside earlier Forest Legends
