Juventus has confirmed that center-back, Gleison Bremer has suffered a major injury and will undergo a knee surgery, Softfootball reports.
The Brazilian who was absent when Juventus drew goalless against AC Milan just before the international break had also missed majority of the 2024/25 season due to an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury that he picked up during a Champions League tie against RB Leipzig in October.

Juventus announced via their official media that Bremer will require surgery. A statement read:
This morning in Lyon, Gleison Bremer underwent a medical consultation with Dr. Sonnery-Cottet, who diagnosed a torn medial meniscus in his left knee. In the next few hours, the player will undergo selective arthroscopic meniscectomy.
After returning in the summer from injury, Bremer played his first competitive match in the 2025-26 Serie A during the 2-0 victory over Parma on the opening day.
But he was left out of the Brazilian national team for the friendlies against South Korea and Japan.
Bremer made his official debut for Brazil against Ghana on 23 September, in a 3–0 win. Before he was named in the squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in November.
Bremer joined Juventus in 2022 from Torino after being named the top defender of the 2021/22 Serie A season.
