Across five fixtures, the team recorded a Premier League win over Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. and secured progression in the FA Cup with a commanding victory at Hull City A.F.C..

Chelsea netted ten goals during February, and João Pedro was central to that attacking output. The Brazilian forward scored twice — a deft finish against Leeds United F.C. and a close-range strike versus Burnley F.C. — while also contributing three assists.

Two of those assists came in the victory over Wolves at Molineux, where João Pedro won both penalties awarded to Chelsea. He was also brought down for another spot-kick against Leeds, converted by Cole Palmer, further underlining his influence even when not directly on the scoresheet.

The award arrives just days after Chelsea’s 2–1 derby defeat to Arsenal F.C., offering supporters a positive highlight amid a challenging period in the league campaign.

The 24-year-old, who joined Chelsea from Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. last year, has quickly established himself as a fan favourite thanks to his direct style, intelligent movement, and ability to unlock stubborn defences.

His performances in February reflected the growing cohesion within the squad under head coach Liam Rosenior, with João Pedro consistently delivering moments of quality during a demanding stretch of fixtures.

The voting results highlighted just how decisive his impact was. João Pedro secured an overwhelming 82 per cent of the vote via the Chelsea Official App.

Palmer finished as runner-up with eight per cent after scoring a hat-trick against Wolves and adding an assist against Leeds. Pedro Neto completed the podium with five per cent following his own hat-trick during the month.

Elsewhere, in a separate development, Clube de Regatas do Flamengo recently dismissed head coach and former Chelsea defender Filipe Luís just hours after an 8–0 Campeonato Carioca semi-final victory over Madureira Esporte Clube — one of the most dramatic managerial decisions in recent South American football history.
