Jadon Sancho is favouring a transfer to Napoli as Manchester United entertain interest from multiple clubs, including Juventus, for the England winger. Sancho spent last season on loan at Chelsea, playing a part in their UEFA Conference League triumph, but the London club opted against triggering the £25 million buy option.
Instead, Chelsea paid a £5m penalty to send him back to Old Trafford, where he is still on a lucrative £300,000-a-week deal with one year left on his contract. Now back on the market, Sancho has attracted interest from Serie A giants, with Napoli making the first move.
Reports from Italy claim he has already given the green light to a potential switch. Napoli manager Antonio Conte has identified the 25-year-old as a key target, although the reigning Serie A champions reportedly view United’s €25m valuation as too high.

Juventus are also in the running, having held fresh discussions with United this week. The Turin side failed to secure Sancho’s signature last summer but are back at the table. Despite Juve’s efforts, Sky Sport Italy report that Sancho would prefer to join Napoli, largely because the southern Italian side showed interest before any other suitors.
The England international had a mixed loan spell under Enzo Maresca, who ultimately decided not to make the deal permanent amid Chelsea’s continued focus on younger signings. Borussia Dortmund, meanwhile, have distanced themselves from a reunion with the winger, despite media speculation linking Sancho back to the Bundesliga club.
“Of course, contact with Jadon is always there,” said Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl, “but that’s not an issue for us right now. We have other priorities.” Sancho’s future remains unresolved as both Italian clubs attempt to negotiate a deal that fits their budget. His salary could be another stumbling block for any move.

United appear open to selling him but will expect a fair return for a player who joined for £73m in 2021 and remains one of the club’s most expensive acquisitions. While negotiations continue, Sancho has reportedly made it clear: Napoli is where he wants to revive his career.
