Inter Miami are set to complete the permanent signing of Argentine World Cup winner, Rodrigo De Paul following a successful loan spell, Softfootball reports.
De Paul played a key role as Inter Miami reached the MLS Cup final and eventually won the competition playing alongside his best friend and arguably ‘the greatest footballer ever’ Lionel Messi.

According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, Atletico Madrid midfielder has impressed on loan and the club wants him to sign permanently. He said:
Inter Miami have activated the clause to sign Rodrigo De Paul from Atlético Madrid on a permanent deal. Atletico Madrid are set to receive €15m.
The permanent signing of De Paul became a must for Inter Miami after it was announced that Sergio Busquest will be retiring from football at the end of the Major League Soccer (MLS) season. Also, another experience head in Jordi Alba is also leaving at the same time for the same reasons.

De Paul joining Inter Miami from Atletico was a bit of a shocker for most people as he was one of the highly rated midfielders in Europe but he has since justified his move and made his current team stronger under Javier Mascherano.
De Paul contributed two goals and seven assists in 23 appearances for Inter Miami across all competitions this season.
